Financial/Supply Systems Intern (m/f) – 6 months internship in Paris

As a Financial and Supply Systems Intern, you will support the Finance and IT departments by focusing on two key areas: maintaining and improving our ERP system (D365 FinOps) and creating and maintaining new reporting solutions using Power BI. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in financial systems, user experience design, data visualization, and IT service management.

Axis 1: Maintain and Improve Our ERP

  • ERP Maintenance:
    • Monitor financial systems and applications to ensure smooth operations.
    • Perform routine system checks and maintenance tasks.
    • Manage and resolve incoming tickets related to ERP issues.
    • Provide first-level support to end-users by addressing their queries and troubleshooting issues.
    • Identify and escalate issues that cannot be resolved at level 1 to the appropriate support teams.
    • Document resolutions and update the knowledge base for future reference.
  • ERP Improvement:
    • User Experience (UX) Improvement:
      • Assist in evaluating and enhancing the user experience of the ERP system.
      • Conduct user research, gather feedback, and identify pain points in the current ERP system.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement user-friendly interfaces and workflows.
    • Process Analysis and Optimization:
      • Analyze current ERP processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
      • Document existing workflows and processes to provide a clear understanding of current operations.
      • Propose and implement enhancements to optimize ERP functionality and user experience.
      • Assist in the preparation of training materials and guides for end-users.

Axis 2: Create and Maintain New Reporting in Power BI

  • Power BI Reporting:
    • Analyze finance and supply needs
    • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support financial analysis and business decision-making.
    • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI.
    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and visualizations.
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
    • Collaborate with the Financial Systems Manager and other team members to understand project requirements and deliverables.


  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles and systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with UX design principles and methodologies is a plus.
  • Understanding of IT service management and ticketing systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
